Dancers

James Brown

James is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in political science. Since moving to New England, James has been a featured soloist with many of the local ballet companies such as Festival Ballet, Island Moving Company, Spindle City Ballet, Granite State Ballet and Ballet Theater of Boston. Additionally, many of his performances are of contemporary and modern works.

Frank Campasino

Frank began his training under the direction of Edward Villella and the New Jersey Ballet. Additional training includes the Tampa Concert Ballet, New York City with Madam Gabriella Darvash and David Howard,. He has performed with the State Ballet of Rhode Island and the Festival Ballet of Rhode Island. His dance experience includes appearances in roles as Franz in Coppelia, Pas de quato, Sleeping Beauty, Don Q and the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Other credits include dance projects throughout New England and working with independent choreographers.

Marcio De Sauza

Marcio De Suaza born in Brazil, Marcio began his study of dance at the age of nineteen at the Faculty of the Arts of Parauma, where he performed with the Faculty Dance Company. He received a scholarship to Study at the Contemporary Dance Company of Portugal as well as a scholarship to study at the Ballet Theater of Boston. This Is his first season with Anna Myer.

Jeremy-Ruth Revilock-Frost

Jeremy-Ruth is a recent graduate of The University of Hartford, Hartt School with a BFA in Dance Performance. She began her dance training in Atlanta, Georgia and then furthered her studies in Portsmouth,New Hampshire under the direction of Mihailo Djuric and Susan Duffy. She danced with Ballet New England and Ballet Theatre Workshop performing soloist roles in both classical ballets and Djuric’s contemporary pieces. Last summer Jeremy-Ruth stuided at the Martha Graham School in NYC on scholarship. She is also a member of Northern Ballet Theatre in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Ellie Kusner

Ellie Kusner received her ballet training from the Boston Ballet School, and her modern dance training from Barnard College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2003. Ellie has danced professionally with the Boston Ballet in major works such as Swan Lake, Giselle, Serenade, and The Nutcracker, and as a student with Donlin Foreman, Elise Monte, and Neta Pulvermacher. She currently teaches modern dance at the Boston Ballet School.

Eric Lindemer

Eric first danced with American Ballet Theater under the direction of Mikhail Baryshnikov. He performed principal roles in both classical and contemporary works with Boston Ballet and Les Grande Ballet Canadiens. At the invitation of Mark Morris Eric danced the lead role in the modern Opera “Nixon in China” with the Frankfurt Opera. Other choreographers he has worked with include Twyla Tharp, Bill T Jones, Ralph Lemon, Marcus Schulkind, and Peter Demiro. This is Eric Lindemer’s seventh season with Anna Myer and Dancers.

Bess Rouse

Bess trained with Larry Long at the Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance, in Chicago and with Homer Bryant and the Boston Ballet Center for Dance Education. Bess has appeared in Ruth Page’s Nutcracker, Chicago Ballet’s Cinderella, has performed with Margot Parsons and MIT’s Dance Troupe. She is studying brain and cognitive science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Nina Saraceno

Nina Saraceno of Boston, Massachusetts graduated Magna Cum Laudi from Skidmore College as a Dance/Psychology double major. At age four, she began her intensive ballet training at the Anna Roje School also dancing as a third generation Isadora Duncan dancer with Center Studio. She danced with the Boston Dance Company during the late 1990’s and joined Anna Myer and Dancers in June 2003.

Carol Somers

Carol Somers is originally from Minneapolis, MN. Carol has danced with Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Ballet Manhattan, Edward Villella, Ohad Naharin Neta Pulvermacher, Beth Soll and Caitlin Corbett. This is her third season with Anna Myer. She began choreographing in 1995 and has been a core member of the Boston based Choreographers Group since it’s inception in 1996. In 1998 she received a Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Artist Grants Award and won first place in Dance Portland’s Choreographic Showcase. She was one of the choreographers commissioned by Dance Umbrella for the 1999 Boston Moves.

Rick Vigo

Rick started his artistic journey as a theater major at Emory University. He later went to Florida State University and then left to study at the Alvin Ailey School in New York. He studied briefly at the Martha Graham School before joining the H.T. Chin Dance Co. Rick has also worked with the Tallahassee Ballet, Hershey Park entertainment, and Dance Collective in Boston. He is thrilled to be a part of Anna Myer and Dancers.

Anne Zuerner

Anne Zuerner grew up on the shores of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. Her desire to dance, which began at an early age, took her away from home, and continues to keep her mobile. She blended her study of dance and liberal arts at University of Michigan and Barnard College. As a member of the Red Hill Project she has performed at WAX (save our homeless crusaders for dance!) and the Joyce Soho in New York, as well as at the Toronto Fringe. In 2002, her work was chosen for Newsteps at the Mulberry Street Theater.

Most recently, dance has taken Anne to Haiti to study with the Ballet Tamboula d’Haiti and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She currently teaches in the department of Theater and Dance at Phillips Academy, Andover. Turn-ons include swimming nude in September, a man with paint on his hands, and Kinski. Anne loves dancing with Anna.

Elizabeth Mochizuki

Elizabeth Mochizuki grew up in California where she studied ballet with Diane Mosier. Ms. Mochizuki has danced with Festival Ballet of Rhode Island, Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theatre, Ballet Rox, Boston Dance Company, and Spindle City Ballet. This March she appeared in her first performance with Anna Myer and Dancers. In 2003 Ms. Mochizuki graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies.

Will Weaver

Will Weaver hails from the Midwest and is unreservedly adjusting to New England. Recent theater credits include Romeo & Juliet at the American Repertory Theatre and Once Upon A Mattress with Animus Ensemble; ballet credits include Demetrius in Midsummer Night’s Dream with Commonwealth Ballet and the roles of the Snow King and Sugar Plum Cavalier with Boston Dance Company; dance credits include Anna Myer & Dancers, Zoe Dance and many independent choreographic projects. He has observed and performed on-stage with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and American Ballet Theatre. In Chicago, Will danced with Ballet Entre-Nous & Tyego Dance Project. Will holds a B.A. of Music from DePaul University.
